VoIP Least Cost Routing cutting
VoIP Least Cost Routing
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a general term for a family of transmission technologies for delivery of voice communications over IP networks such as the Internet or other packet-switched networks. Least cost routing (LCR) is the process of selecting the path of outbound communications traffic based on cost.
VoIP LCR has matured into a feasible and stable mechanism to save on Telecommunications costs.
We have a conservative approach to implementing VoIP LCR. We ensure that there is sufficient bandwidth to ensure call quality and that there is a failover route for the calls should your connectivity to the internet fail.
VoIP LCR is not for all businesses. It is important to understand the cost of the equipment, connectivity and bandwidth needed to ensure quality calls. If the payback period for the infrastructure is short then it is feasible to implement VoIP LCR.
